2-part (Duplicate): standard paper colour combinations are white and yellow. 2-part books are bound in 100 sets.

3-part (Triplicate): standard paper colour combinations are white, yellow and blue. 3-part books are bound in 50 sets.

4-part (Quadruplicate): standard paper colour combinations are white, yellow, blue and pink.  4-part books are bound in 25 sets.

The carbonless paper we use for NCR pads printing is called carbonless copy paper (CCP), Non-carbon copy paper or also NCR paper (No Carbon Required, taken from the initials of its creator, National Cash Register).

It is a type of coated paper designed for multipart stationary in carbonless paper printing to transfer information written on the front onto sheets beneath without the need to insert a special sheet in between the original and the intended copy.

Carbonless printing paper has micro-encapsulated ink on the back side of the top sheet, and a clay coating on the front side of the bottom sheet. When written on, the ink capsules rupture and react with the clay to form a permanent mark duplicating the writing made to the top sheet (2-part - Duplicate - NCR carbonless paper 2 part). Intermediary sheets, with clay on the front and dye capsules on the back, can be used to create multiple copies (3-part - Triplicate, 4-part - Quadruplicate). Carbonless forms custom made are our speciality.
